MOTHERHOOD….. the most beautiful, miraculous & incredibly overwhelming journey there is. Those early sleepless nights, first smiles, tantrums & first words. Let's not forget the first time they leave us to go off to school & of course the pure LOVE they give us. It's messy, fun, heartbreaking and oh so fast! WAY too fast. Through all of this, one thing I know is that us moms ARE NOT in the frame enough with them. I am guilty of this!

Who doesn’t love a good portrait? The way the light hits the face at the perfect angle or the way your head is tilted in the most flattering position. How your shoulder is moving toward the camera to draw your eye in and the way your hair is perfectly smooth with not a frizz in sight. Sounds great right?

Downtown sessions are one of my favorites. I love the laid back vibe of them. I especially love finding really cool old doors to use as a backdrop. How cool are these church doors?

I have been photographing more lifestyle headshot sessions and they are such a breath of fresh air. When I think of headshots I think of studio lights, solid backgrounds and stiff poses (sorry but it’s true). But some professionals want a more relaxed laid back feel for their headshots. Bring on the lifestyle headshots.

When Molly first got in touch with me to inquire about a session we did a virtual call. It was my fist time doing this type of call with a client but I am so glad we did!

These two cuties were so much fun! You could just feel their love pouring through. They have the most infectious smiles don’t they?!

Since today felt like spring here I felt that this would be the perfect session to share on the blog!….

Extended family sessions are a special gift to that special family member. Whether it be Christmas, a birthday or Mothers/Fathers day, giving a person this rather than another candle or set of wine glasses is something they will cherish for years.

This beautiful background might look like a perfect Spring day but it felt more like late Fall with cold temps & lots and lots of wind! But this sweet family made it through their session with tons of smiles & were so much fun!

What a perfect summer morning that I got to spend with this family! This would be the 1st time that this beautiful family would all be together as a family of 10! What better way to celebrate having everyone together than with family pictures?!

Christmas Tree Farm mini sessions are a wrap! This year I had the pleasure of heading back to Hidden Pond Tree Farm for some Tree Farm Mini Sessions! If you haven't been here or heard of this place before you should definitely check them out. The farm is breathtaking to see with acres of trees at your sight. Last year we went back when they opened for the season and we got to chop down our very first real tree. Was so much fun and can't wait to do it again this year.
