April 23, 2018 will definitely be a day that Emily & T.J. will look back on years from now and luckily have these memories to share with their kids & grandkids! Why you ask? It's the day that T.J. proposed to Emily!

It started with a movie, Big Fish to be exact. Have any of you seen this movie? If you haven't go and Google Big Fish Daffodil scene right now! Big Fish happened to be both their favorite movie before they met & they found out on their 1st date that they both loved the movie. For T.J.'s proposal to Emily, T.J. had a really sweet idea in mind. Propose to Emily in a field of Daffodils! How sweet?! They also both have a love of arboretums so he searched for arboretums that have daffodil fields. He lucked out and found one in Summit, NJ, the beautiful Reeves Reed Arboretum.

Now how to get Emily there when they both live in Philly and Reeves Reed is in NJ? With a little help from T.J's sister they made fake tickets to a broadway show in NYC. The plan was that Emily & his sister would go to the city to see the show together. What Emily didn't know was that T.J. would be skipping work that day and putting his plan into motion. He headed over to the arboretum with his mom and waited nervously in the middle of the daffodil field for Emily to show up. T.J's sister told Emily they would be making a little stop before heading into the city. That little stop would be the arboretum :)

Emily arrives right on time and she sees T.J. standing in the field of daffodils. I am sure from that point on it's a bit of a blur to her. She stood at the top of the field frozen and sobbing in joy. There was no way she would walk down to T.J. in her state of shock but that's ok! He walked up to her and got down on one knee aaaaaannnnnnnddddddd SHE SAID YES!!

After the excitement calmed down a little bit I was able to get them both together in the field for some photos. Thanks for allowing me to capture your special day. These memories will be so beautiful for you to have & look back on one day!
