I LOVE family sessions with little kids. They are carefree, fast paced, messy and oh so fun! Most of the time the kids start out super shy. It’s all new to them. I mean most people don’t have a strange person follow them around with a camera. But by keeping the session light and fun and not asking them to get them into stiff poses….playing games, having the parents tickle them, give them kisses, play ring around the rosie….those same shy kids usually end up turning into the biggest hams.

For this sweet family session we also celebrated little Anna’s 1st birthday a few weeks later with a Pop Up Mini Cake Smash! Check out a few of her birthday pics below. Guys the Pop Up Mini’s are so much fun! They are a perfect add on to any session or also great if you just want to document your kids personalities as they are growing.
