"Love Your Mama" | Why Motherhood Sessions Are So Important | NJ Photographer

MOTHERHOOD….. the most beautiful, miraculous & incredibly overwhelming journey there is. Those early sleepless nights, first smiles, tantrums & first words. Let's not forget the first time they leave us to go off to school & of course the pure LOVE they give us. It's messy, fun, heartbreaking and oh so fast! WAY too fast. Through all of this, one thing I know is that us moms ARE NOT in the frame enough with them.

Let's change that! Let's celebrate the moms and get you in the frame with your babies….no matter their age! Whether you are in the thick of the toddler chaos or sending your baby off to college…let's document your bond with them…for just 20 minutes…so you can relive these moments in the years to come.

Some of my absolute favorite moments during a family session are when I get the kids & their mamas alone for a few pics. There is no denying the beautiful bond that unfolds in just a couple of minutes together.

I have never actually dedicated sessions to just the moms. But seeing my daughter grow….and grow and grow….I kept having the tug to document moms & their babies. “Love Your Mama” minis were long overdue & they are now my fave sessions to document! My goal for myself is to get in the frame much more with my daughter as well! No more excuses from me. I want my daughter to remember that I was actually there. I want her to look back at pictures and see that bond we shared. This is why getting in the frame with your kids is so important…not necessarily for the right now but for the future moments. I mean who doesn’t love looking at old photographs! Oh and don’t forget to print them so our babies actually have something to look at in 20 years!

And guys….these sessions have no age limit incase you were thinking that your child is too old! If you are a mom with an adult son or daughter….let's get that documented! That bond will never go away and one day we will absolutely cherish that we were in these photos with our children and vice versa.
