Tree Farm Sessions 2023 are here in Mendham, NJ! Everything you need to know is below!

What is included: 15 minutes at the farm and 5 hand edited digital images delivered through a private online gallery within 4 weeks of your session or sooner.

*I try my best to have these all finished before Thanksgiving but I am one person & I also have regular sessions to edit so sometimes it takes a little longer :)

This year I will end each mini with a special Christmas tree cookie for the kids, custom made by an awesome local baker. Please make sure to let me know how many children you have when you book. 1 cookie per child.

*Please Note….These minis must be PAID IN FULL and a contract signed in order to hold your date. If you just choose your date without taking care of the other steps, the date will not be saved for you.

What are Tree Farm Minis?:

•Tree Farm minis are fun, fast, and festive sessions! These are not full sessions, so you will get a very small taste of what my regular sessions are like. In general families will use these minis for their holiday cards or social media holiday announcements. They also make make fun family gifts (example ornaments)!

•My mini sessions take place at the BEAUTIFUL Hidden Pond Tree farm. The location speaks for itself which is why i don't use many props. Those who know me, know that I am not a fan of props, So for these minis I keep it VERY simple and let the STUNNING Tree Farm be the “prop”. I generally just bring a blanket & my camera. Sometimes…but not always… there will be a festive sign or maybe I end with something fun for the kids (cookies!)…but in general I let the beauty of the tree farm shine through. So you won't see any big red trucks, bulky couches or hot cocoa stands set up for my mini sessions. If that was what you were hoping for (no judgement!), I just might be the photographer you are looking for :)

•These are for immediate family members, just your kids, couples or even just your pet. These are NOT extended family sessions. If you want a session for your extended family we can set that up at a later date.

•These are FAST PACED! Like I seriously need a nap after these minis because I feel like a ran a marathon at the end lol. So keep that in mind when you are scheduled. I run sessions back to back, so being on time or even a little early is great and kids MUST be dressed and ready to go for your time slot. Please don't change your kids when you get to your session time because that will eat into your 15 minutes.

•Dogs are welcome! I LOVE animals. If I could have a farm filled with animals I would. So I love when they are included in your family stories. With that said, the dog MUST BE well behaved & on a leash as well as picked up after. If we have to spend more time trying to get the dog to stay with us or to be “looking” at the camera than we do your child, that will eat into your session time as well. Did I mention these minis go SUPER FAST?! So in general I don't focus as much on getting your dog to be perfect. Some people will bring along a “helper” to hold onto the dog when we want to get a couple of photos without he or she.

•As a matter of fact the above also holds true for kids. I don't expect young kids to always be looking and saying “cheese” at the camera. If you look at my website it's rare you see everyone looking at the camera perfectly posed. It's not real life & I want your families true connection to show through, not only their “cheese faces” lol. Even in a short 15 minutes we can get that sweet connection showing :)

•I say this every year and I will say it again…PAJAMAS!! I love pj's at the tree farm. So if you are a family who likes being silly and festive…wear your christmas pj's! It looks so cute amongst the trees! Need inspiration for this? Just ask and I will send! :)

•One last thing…the walk from the parking lot is…a good walk. So PLEASE don't wear heels or shoes that you don't want to get ruined.
