These were so much fun! COLD but fun.

Do you make GOALS as well as Vision Boards at the beginning of the New Year or do you trickle them in throughout the year? If you follow me on Instagram you will see that I have been working on my Vision Board for 2022 , which was a new thing for me & kinda stressful at first, but once I got started it began to flow & actually be fun.

Do you all choose words for the new year? We do over here….mine for 2022 is “Change” and Jade chose “Hopeful”…both fitting looking back at the last two years we have had.

Who says you have to go to a beautiful garden or a golden hour sunset at the beach to have amazing family photos? As a matter of fact a lot of families are so much more comfortable being somewhere familiar to them. There is nothing more familiar than your own property! The love and connection still shines through no matter where we take your family photos.

What better way to celebrate turning one than closing on a new home the day of your cake smash!

When I walk into someone’s home I have never met before I am always a nervous wreck. I do my best not to show it but believe me I am. Being really shy (or introverted) my whole life I have always had a hard time making small talk and for the most part feel awkward around new people I meet.

Spooky season is coming to an end. I wasn’t ready for it and now it’s almost over.

We had a lot of fun this year with Jade and Halloween pics. From Creepy little girl…to the Funky Ghost to Rain-bownes…get it? lol (which is her actual Halloween costume) she really got into the Halloween spirit.

What better way is there to freeze this sweet family’s story but through images? Those early days and weeks of a new baby coming home are such a blur aren’t they? We want to remember every little detail and we think we will.

This was a really fun project and something so different from what I normally photograph. Sometimes getting out of your comfort zone is good for the soul. Especially when you get to take pictures of two of the most adorable kids rooms. How amazing has this mama styled her two little girls rooms??

Talk about a gorgeous Summer evening! We definitely lucked out with the weather this day. After having to reschedule their original date due to crazy storms, I was nervous about the weather the day of being they were traveling to me from Staten Island! Weather is sooooo unpredictable and can really mess with outdoor session scheduling.
